My Photo-Cinema

First class of Photo-Cinema! :D

~ EXPERIENCE ~

I had the opportunity to explore photography and a little bit of filmmaking. I learned about lighting, camera angles, I also gained experience working with different photography techniques and understanding how each choice can affect the mood and story behind an image. One of the most exciting parts of this class was making the LIA short film, allowing me to apply what I learned about storytelling and planning.

Thoughts

I had lots of fun at Photo-Cinema, but there were some moments when it felt a bit boring when you would have to watch videos. The assignments were fun to do and I enjoyed being part of the experience. The most embarrassing part was being the person who was photographed because of my shyness. Even though I felt a little uncomfortable, it was still a fun and memorable experience. .

Difficulty

The class was mostly managing the assignment deadlines and waiting for the teacher’s help. Since many students needed the teacher’s attention during projects, it was sometimes difficult to get assistance right away. This caused us to lose valuable time while working because we had to wait for guidance before continuing. Although the projects were interesting, having limited access to help made completing them more challenging.
